Each month our Executive Chef, Scott Nyman, lets you peek into his recipe book to give you a chance to create one of his recipes at home for your family. This month's recipe is one of his favorites...
6 ounces sea scallops
(fresh, dry pack preferred)
6 large shrimp peeled and deveined
4 ounces lump crabmeat
3 ounces crumbled feta cheese
2 Tbs kalamata olives
(pitted)
1Tbs olive oil
1 tsp chopped garlic
1/2 whole lemon
3/4 cup dry white wine
3/4 cup your favorite marinara sauce
salt & pepper to taste
1 Tbs whole butter
1 lb cooked pasta
2 Tbs Love
Directions: Always start with the 2 Tbs of Love!
In a large sautee pan or pot (large enough to toss the pasta in as well)
heat the olive oil.
Add the scallops & shrimp and sautee for about 2 minutes
Add the garlic and to release flavor before it browns, add white wine
Add juice of half lemon & kalamata olives
Bring to a boil and add 2/3 feta cheese, marinara sauce, salt & pepper to taste
Bring to a boil again, add cooked pasta, lump crabmeat & whole butter
When pasta is hot, divide in two and top with remaining feta
